Gotham Rocks started out as New York City’s premier modern rock showcase series. Now, in 2011 alone, Gotham Rocks put on over 60 live shows with over 100 bands, in front of more than 15,000 fans in NYC, Long Island and NJ. We put some of the best new local, regional and national bands into packed houses in front of fans and industry alike. We give people who live and breathe rock music a chance to hang out, connect and build together– all while catching some of the best bands and blazing performances to be seen in NYC.

Our bands have played thousands of shows all over the northeast and mid-atlantic and everywhere we go, people complain about their local rock scenes the same way. ”Its dead”, “There are no good bands” or “This isnt the place for our type of music”. Well come to a showcase and you will see that the real rock scene is not only alive but thriving here in NYC, and that there is no better place to see it and be a part of it than Gotham Rocks.

Gotham Rocks partners with companies that feel the same way we do about supporting new and independent bands and music. Companies that work with us to award prizes, endorsement deals, marketing help and national exposure that our bands both deserve and want. Since 2009 we have worked with Fox 5’s Fearless Music, Six Flags Great Adventure, Spector Guitars, DR Strings, Reverbnation.com, Musicsubmit.com, Soldouttour.com, Revolver Magazine and many others.

Putting The Best Rock Bands In The Best Venues In NYC

No one in New York champions the up and coming rock and metal scenes like Tech-9 Music. We take the best up-and-coming, often unsigned, local, regional and national bands and book them at the best venues in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey– places like Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater, Highline Ballroom, Six Flags Great Adventure, Mulcahy’s, Santo’s Party House, Crash Mansion, and Sullivan Hall. In 2011 we put on over 60 concerts, showcases and events in and worked over 100 bands from multi-platinum U.S. acts like Fuel to international acts like Girugamesh and Firewind to regional independent bands. We put these hardworking and talented bands on stages together through our rock and metal showcase series: Gotham Rocks and No Mercy Metal.

A History making show, the Gotham Rocks 3 year anniversary show sold out one of the top rock venues in NYC, Irving Plaza in July. Charetta topped the night with the highest draw followed by Bound By Substance, Killcode, The August Infinity, Sweet Fix and Crush of Empires.
